Yes, But This Post About AI Is Different!

April 15, 2026

I know. Another post about AI. But stay with us.

AI is going to make execution faster and cheaper. That’s not a maybe. It’s happening now. For a lot of people in creative work, that feels like a threat. If AI can execute, what’s left for us to do?

We’re working on a project right now where AI is helping us do something we wouldn’t have been able to do otherwise (more to come on this…). The idea is ours. The direction is ours. The design is ours. AI is the tool that makes it possible.

A cancer researcher using AI to cut 10 years off their timeline to deliver lifesaving medicine isn’t being replaced. They’re using a tool to execute their hypothesis faster. The idea, i.e. the scientific thinking, is still theirs. That’s the difference. AI grounded in human judgment versus AI used as a shortcut.

If you’re worried about AI replacing you, the answer isn’t to compete with it on execution. It’s to bring bigger and better ideas to that table alongside it.

AI raises the bar. Big ideas are what clear it.

What’s your answer when someone asks if AI can do your job?
